What is ASLDiner?

ASLDiner is an online learning platform created by Everyday ASL University that provides structured ASL training courses taught by Deaf ASL professors. Members gain access to a wide range of ASL and interpreter training topics organized into clear, easy-to-follow courses.


How do I access my membership?

After purchasing a membership, you will receive an email with instructions to access your account. Once logged in, you can immediately begin viewing courses and lessons.


What devices can I use to watch the lessons?

ASLDiner works on almost any modern device, including:

• TVs
• laptops and desktops
• PCs and Macs
• iPhones and Android phones
• tablets

As long as your device has internet access, you can watch the lessons.


Do I need to download the films to watch them?

No. All lessons play directly inside your account through the built-in video player. You can watch the lessons anytime without downloading files or using storage space on your device.


Are the lessons self-paced?

Yes. You can learn at your own pace. Pause, replay, or revisit any lesson whenever you want.


What does the learning workspace look like?

Each course includes a clear lesson workspace that contains:

• organized lesson chapters
• ASL training films
• downloadable materials when available
• quizzes to complete the course
• progress tracking

This structure makes it easy to move step-by-step through each course.


Do I receive certificates after completing courses?

Yes. When you complete a course and pass the quiz, a certificate is automatically sent to your email. If you complete multiple courses, you will receive a certificate for each one.

Is ASLDiner more economical than DVDs or USB programs?

Yes. Because the courses are delivered online, there are no shipping costs or delays. Members receive immediate access to training materials without needing physical media.


Can I use ASLDiner courses in a classroom or workplace?

Yes. Many instructors, schools, and organizations use ASLDiner courses for group learning sessions or professional development.


Are the courses recognized by RID for CEUs?

Our team is currently working with the Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf (RID) to have ASLDiner courses approved for CEUs. We currently have nearly 18 CEUs worth of training materials under review. Once approval is completed, participants will be notified and provided instructions on how to request CEUs.


Is accessing the lessons or downloading eBooks difficult?

Not at all. Simply log into your account and select the course you want to study. If a course includes downloadable materials such as eBooks, you can easily save them to your device.


Can I return an ASLDiner membership?

No. Because ASLDiner provides immediate digital access to courses and learning materials, all memberships are non-refundable.


Why is it called ASLDiner?

At a diner, customers choose from many items on the menu. ASLDiner follows the same idea: a menu of ASL training topics and courses covering many areas of Deaf culture, language, and interpreting. It is a place where learners can explore many subjects in one location.


Who owns and runs ASLDiner?

ASLDiner is operated by Everyday ASL University, founded by Gilda Toby Ganezer and Avery Ganezer. Both are Deaf educators from a five-generation Deaf family and have spent more than 25 years teaching, creating ASL curriculum, and producing educational films.


Where can I view my membership and courses?

After logging in, click the account area in the top-right corner of the site and select Products to view your courses and learning materials.
